The Crochet Lite Review

The Crochet Lite is a crochet hook in all different sizes that lets you crochet in the dark. I picked up the size I today when I was out shopping. I got it not only because it seemed pretty nifty that it lit up but also because the handle looked super comfy. One thing that I hate about my metal hooks is that they have points on the end that always end up leaving blisters on my hand.

The first thing I should say is that the handle is not as soft as it appears. It is actually just a hard plastic case where the switch and battery is.
Secondly, it does light up and look pretty cool! It slightly helps you crochet better in a darker room but not enough to crochet in the complete darkness.Another down side is that the light is slightly blinding which the cashier warned me about before I purchased this.
Lastly, I find it slightly harder to crochet with a plastic hook than a metal hook. This is most likely something that I just need to get used to but it definitely slowed down my project a bit.

In conclusion, I do not regret buying this product and I think that it is a neat novelty to have. That being said I would not go out and buy every single size. I think just a size that you use most often would be the best way to go if you are going to purchase one.
